Meghan, Duchess of Sussex will reportedly guest edit the prestigious September 2019 issue of British Vogue.
The British royal will join editor-in-chief Edward Enninful to preside over the big fashion release, widely considered to be the most important issue of the year, according to editors at Us Weekly.
“Meghan will be writing an opinion piece of her own as well as bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays,” an insider told the publication.
The source also claimed Meghan, who welcomed her first child, son Archie, with husband Prince Harry on 6 May, will pose for a special photoshoot on the grounds of the couple’s Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, England next week.
British Vogue officials have yet to comment on the report, which emerges three days after Meghan joined Harry and other members of his family at the Trooping the Colour parade in London on Saturday to publicly celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 93rd birthday.
The event marked only the second time the former Suits actress has appeared in public following the arrival of her baby son.
She and Harry, who wed in May 2018, previously introduced the newborn to the world at a special photocall at Windsor Castle two days after giving birth.
In the past, Meghan delved into the world of fashion, beauty and travel with her lifestyle website The Tig.
The project, in which the 37-year-old also profiled inspirational women and spoke to health and wellbeing experts, garnered over three million fans on Instagram, though she closed the website in April 2017 when she made her relationship with Harry official.
