Tandoori Prawns

Ingredients
500 grams prawns peeled and deveined
1 cup low fat yogurt
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
6 whole green cardamoms’s crushed
2 tablespoons crushed garlic
2 tablespoons finely grated ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon turmeric
2 teaspoons paprika
½ teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
Salt to taste

Directions
1. Place the cleaned prawns in a shallow baking dish
2. In a large mixing bowl mix all the remaining ingredients
3. Mix well together
4. Pour half the sauce over the prawns and coat well
5. Marinate in fridge for 1 hour or over night
6. Preheat oven to 180° C
7. Place prawns on a wire rack in a baking pan
8. Place in oven and cook until pink
9. Keep brushing with remaining sauce
10. With any leftover marinate turn it into a sauce to serve with the prawns
11. Serve with a fresh salad and chipped potatoes.
