Dwayne Johnson Broiled Fish

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also formerly known by his wrestling name The Rock, is an American actor, producer, singer, and professional wrestler who holds American and Canadian citizenship. Johnson’s father, Rocky Johnson, is of Nova Scotian origin, while his mother is of Samoan heritage. Dwayne became a Canadian citizen because his father was born in Canada. Johnson co-wrote his autobiography, The Rock Says…  in 2000, and it debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list and remained on the list for about five months! He eats seven meals a day, cod fillets being a favourite – however, as cod is not available in South Africa, we opted for hake. Enjoy!

1kg hake fillet
One teaspoon of butter (melted)
One teaspoon of lemon juice
One teaspoon of dried tarragon
A pinch of ground black pepper
One tablespoon of sesame seeds

Line an oven pan with aluminium foil and place the fish, brushing it with butter. Season with lemon juice, tarragon and pepper and sprinkle the sesame seeds over. Then place in the oven and grill for about 10 minutes until the fish flakes easily and turns white. Serve on green leaves with a sauce of your choice.
