That’s right! The National Lottery Operator, ITHUBA, has announced that the PowerBall jackpot from Tuesday 26 November has been won, at yet another massive jackpot of R114, 242,816.50.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sharp Supermarket in Makhado, Limpopo. The winner, who is not yet known to ITHUBA, spent R15 on the winning ticket, using a manual selection method.
The winning numbers are: 2, 8, 11, 13, 32 and the PowerBall is 03.
The winner had not yet contacted ITHUBA at the time of publication, but the Operator anticipates that the winner will come through soon. “With a jackpot of this magnitude, we really hope that the winner will make contact with us today still. We encourage all players, especially players from Limpopo and those who have recently travelled to the area to check their tickets”, said Busisiwe Msizi, Head of Corporate Relations at ITHUBA.
ITHUBA’s Winner Services Department is ready to receive the winner. “Once we have validated the winning ticket, our first step is to offer them trauma counselling. Becoming R114 Million richer overnight can become overwhelming to anyone who wins, our aim is to help the winner digest the news and enjoy every step of this life changing experience. The trauma counselling will be followed by extensive financial advice to assist the winner with their financial planning”, said Msizi.
The winner becomes the fourth highest jackpot winner in the history of the National Lottery, the highest jackpot was won at R232 Million in February 2019.
