Who Are They?

RADIANT PAGEANTS is a registered organisation built on a foundation of transparency and empowering through the empowered. Radiant Pageants creates platforms for all types of women such as transgender women, teen moms and curvy girls. Founded by CEO, Teneal Fredericks, she is only 21 years old. In the process of launching her own restaurant and a book, she is telling her story to inspire the youth and to show that it doesn’t matter where you come from, but where you going. Ms Fredericks has faced many difficulties in her life. She was raped at the age of nine, bullied and body shamed. She has used all her hurt and transformed it into a positive platform for young, broken women. Fredericks says it’s not about having to improve yourself, it’s about creating yourself. Radiant Pageants are launching platforms in every single province to give all women a chance to become successful, and in the process, give back to the community.

What Do They Do?

RADIANT PAGEANTS have different platforms, going province to province, seeking out amazing young women who they can empower. They are launching a pageant where the winner walks away with R100 000, as well as qualification sponsors. The top 10 charities submitted by the entrants will walk away, with additional cash sponsors to sustain their NGOs. During the week, the women will attend classes and courses by world renowned businesses and millionaires. They will receive entrepreneurial classes and media and marketing course, lifestyle therapy, beauty therapy, job skills, psychology sessions and they will even undergo a boot camp where they face challenges to allow them to step out of their comfort zones, enabling them to reach for their stars and making their dreams possible.

Where Are They Based?

RADIANT PAGEANTS has ambassadors all over South Africa. They are continually seeking leaders for the coming year. They also have a main office in Centurion, Gauteng and a second office in Port Elizabeth.

Who Benefits?

RADIANT PAGEANTS use all their profits to improve living conditions for the poor in South Africa, creating a dynamic platform that changes lives and not just for the sake of saying it but actually doing it. They aim to be pillars of strength for a struggling South Africa. Radiant Pageants also urges other businesses to get involved and help to build a nation.

Robert Clunie
Robert is a descendant of the stout Macpherson Clan out of the Scottish Highlands and can claim Robert the Bruce as a far-off cousin. He suffers from a severe form of Collectors’ Disease and sports an assortment of small valuable curious. In his spare time he works a full-time job, but his real prowess lies within his musical aptitude as a drummer. He is a semi-amateur of the instrument and although he claims beating a drumhead one of the more primal sensations man can experience, he feels it to be an unnatural exercise to pursue. If he could have his way, he’d have breakfast every meal of the day and is a fan of all things Roald Dahl.
