Who Are They?

ANATHI AFRIKA is a boutique entertainment company focused on artist management, radio and TV plugging as well as artist bookings and stage management. The company was founded by Tsepo Mtwana and is run by him and his fiancée, Noeleen Thahane. Coming from an artist’s background, Tsepo knows the needs of artists and, together with Noeleen, created a streamlined service that helps independent artists and record labels get their music onto radio and music videos on television.

What Do They Do?

ANATHI AFRIKA offers a cost-effective solution to radio and TV plugging. After noticing that many artists and independent labels struggle to get their songs out on radio because they either do not have the information, contacts or the time needed for such an admin-intensive task, they positioned themselves as a one-stop solution to the problem. They set out to build a network in the industry and establish relationships and a brand name that will be known and respected by clients and industry associates. Anathi Afrika also book artists and negotiates fees on behalf of event organisers; furthermore, they manage event line-ups and the stage on the day of the event. The company now also does artist management, and has been working for songstress Lucille Slade.

Where Are They Based?

ANATHI AFRIKA operates from Olivedale in Johannesburg.
