Unathi Msengana: Set goals…

Unathi took a year to lose her post-baby weight after her first pregnancy. “I tend to gain a lot of weight during pregnancy,” she told Women’s Health in 2015.

When she ballooned even further during her second pregnancy, Unathi decided to take action. She set goals and worked daily towards achieving her desired weight loss. The Idols SA judge even took part in the Unlimited Dusi canoe marathon to challenge herself.

“Eighty per cent of weight loss depends on a good eating plan. I felt much healthier and had more energy. Had I not started this weight-loss regime, I’d never have been able to take on the Unlimited Dusi. I probably wouldn’t even have been able to fit into the canoe!” she told the publication.
