Eggs For Chrissy
MOM-OF-TWO Chrissy Teigen believes an egg a day keeps the doctor away, so forget those apples for now. While we all know starting off the day with a nutritious breakfast is the way to boost metabolism and enjoy a healthy day, the former model really does make this the most important meal of the day for her — and always starts it with an egg. The cookbook author told Delish, “I get really mad when I hear there’s a continental breakfast somewhere. I’m not a big breakfast pastry, chocolate croissant girl. I have to have eggs every day. I like a farmer’s breakfast: two over-easy eggs, turkey bacon or pork sausage, sliced avocado, and grilled tomatoes. I can’t do pancakes or else I just want to go to bed. Eggs are my must — with a ton of Cholula on top.”
THE model-turned-talk show host believes that it’s okay to give into cravings occasionally. While eating healthy comes naturally for the former Victoria’s Secret star who is in tip-top shape, she also wants everyone to know that you should not deprive yourself of your favourite foods. And the experts agree. ”Allowing yourself to indulge in a craving (responsibly) can benefit your diet by preventing larger-scale bingeing later,” Grace Derocha, a registered dietitian and wellness coach told Insider.
THE singer makes sure to enjoy a rainbow-coloured diet. It’s no secret we should be keeping our plates colourful — which means adding in more fresh fruits and vegetables, many of which are rich in vibrant colour tones — and the singer swears by this. Christina says she eats only one colour food each day of the week.
Carbs For Julianne
THIS dancer-turned-actress is oh-so-toned — and she eats carbs. The star swears by adding carbs to each meal. Complex carbs, that is. “I thought they were my enemy, but they’re actually my best friend,” she says of carbs.
