Trend To Try: Slay In Grey

WHAT’S the deal with grey make-up? This unusual new trend has been popping up on the runways, your favourite YouTube stars’ make-up tutorials and of course on celebs and Instagram. You might be thinking: “Who in their right mind would wear that?!” But, as odd as it sounds, adding grey lipstick or eyeshadow to a look can give you a punchy edge that will make heads turn. The key, as with anything, is knowing how to use it.

TIP: If you’re not daring enough to go for a full-on grey,

try a lilac or brown undertone to start off with.

Luxe On The Lips:

AS with any bold colour, lips should have perfectly crisp and defined lines. Apply liner after applying lipstick, this helps sharpen the edges and frame your lip line. If there’s a mishap, clean up with concealer around the mouth.

Easy On The Eyes:

START with lighter shades of grey for eyes, especially during the daytime, and then work your way up to deep charcoal hues. Using a larger, flat shadow brush, work your chosen grey shadow onto the outer corner of the eye and buff it out. Apply the same shade along the lower lash line using a small, flat brush.
