Trend To Try: Green Up Your Act

NO-ONE can deny the classic beauty of a neutral smokey eye or a black winged liner, but it looks like this might be the year we embrace something different. If the red carpets and runways are anything to go by, we’re going to get a high dose of colour injected into our make-up routines. When it comes to pulling together a make-up look, remember: the brighter, the better. Here’s how to wear killer bright green with pride.

THINK flashes of rich green, which brings a pop of colour to eyes without looking overly dramatic. An unusual metallic emerald shade incorporated into a regular smoky eye adds more interest to a tried and tested look. Keep the colour below the crease, then apply a warm brown shadow shade (even a bronzer could work) in the crease to blend seamlessly. Under eyeliner has never looked cooler than in green. Pile on metallic green and smudge it out into a soft wing to elongate the eye.
