PUT down the contour stick and start sculpting your cheeks with blush. Draping is a thing now, thanks to Instagram and beauty gurus and, of course, celebrities like Rihanna. Why is it called ‘draping’? Blush is meant to drape over your unique bone structure, giving off a soft colourful glow, while subtly sculpting features. Wash a bright red or pink blush from the temples across the eyelids and down the cheeks. Follow this with a deeper pink, red or even plum tone to contour the hollows.

THE Right swimwear can make a huge difference with how confident you feel on the beach or at the poolside. So too can make-up. We’re not suggesting that you hit the waves with a full face complete with high coverage foundation, faux eyelashes and a smoky eye, but this season’s make-up trends are best worn out in the sun, rocking your newest bikini. We dare you to keep foundation to a minimal and embrace colour.
TIP: Find the hollow part of your cheeks by placing fingers on the sides of your face, where you feel it dip underneath the bones is where you will sweep a darker shade.
