The Brow Queen Does It Again!

When it comes to brows we all know who to call, The Brow Bar has established itself in the beauty industry as the leading brow destination. Revolutionary brow shaping technique, amazing customer relationships and access to an exclusive range of beauty products is what we’ve come to expect from The Brow Bar brand.

This success story would not have become a reality if it weren’t for the meticulous mind of owner and founder Unaiza Moideen. With her beauty and business background and years of experience, Unaiza continues to apply herself in every aspect of her business, from training up staff and product development all the way to marketing and strategic alignment.

With The Firs Brow Bar in Rosebank pioneering a new-found path, Unaiza celebrated the launch of her exclusive product range surrounded by excited clients and guests. The range is called UNI which is a nickname taken from the first four letters of Unaiza’s name. The range includes Unaiza’s uniquely formulated growth serum and double-sided highlighting brow pencil which is guaranteed to make those brows pop! UNI is a brand that draws inspiration from the demand for beautifully groomed brows and is in the final developing stages of offering Brow Bar clients a full brow solution.

The Brow Bar offers its clients a variety of exclusive products and services including the Elleebana Lash Lift, Lola Brows and Lash Perfect which is a semi-permanent lash solution and the first of its kind globally. The Brow Bar was awarded exclusivity of distribution rights of Elleebana and Lash perfect in South Africa, which is another way this brand is presenting us with the best products on offer.

The Brow Bar technique and product range include:

Russian Layering

The Russian Layering Technique (also known as Russian Lashes and 3D-6D lashes) originated in Russia. This multi-lash technique involves adhering synthetic, ultra-fine lashes onto a single natural lash. The main benefit of Russian Layering is that it gives clients a full, high impact glamorous look with maximum natural looking volume. The Brow Bar achieves this look using Lash Perfect products that promise to be safe, reliable and of high quality. The application process takes approximately an hour and a half, and all you have to do is close your eyes and relax!

Tahitian Feathering

This technique is performed by applying multiple lightweight lashes onto one natural lash using varying lengths along the hair shaft to give a light, natural feathering effect. The resulting benefit of Tahitian Feathering is to add volume to the client’s natural lashes whilst keeping a soft and delicate look. The Brow Bar Achieves this look with Express Lashes which is a semi-permanent lash solution lasting up to three weeks. It is possible to create a number of different looks using Lash Express depending on the desired effect.

Eleebana Lash Lift

Lash Lifting uses “Silicone Rods or pads” instead of traditional perming rollers to give more of a lifting effect from the base of the eyelash. Just one 20 minute professional treatment is all it takes to deliver a sumptuous lash lift that is retained, even after a shower or swimming, for up to 12 weeks.

Lola Brows

This is a unique new salon and spa treatment that uses bespoke colour to create three dimensional brows. Just like a semi-permanent eyebrow pencil, Lola Brows help to shape and frame your face and can last 2-3 weeks, taking only 15-45 minutes to apply.

Unaiza plans to cultivate her brand for longevity and excellence whilst bringing her clients an entire brow range that is trusted and innovative.

I always knew I would work in magazines, as I grew up in publishing (my parents are publishers). When I’m not writing beauty or following my passion for make-up, I can be found reading and spending time with family and friends. I am also a tea-lover
