JJ Schoeman’s Best and Worst Dressed at The MET Gala

One of our favourite designers JJ Schoeman shares his best and worst dressed at the Met Gala this year, and to be honest, we agree with whom he’s chosen.  So lets have a look at JJ’s take on the fashion. He’s known for his elegant, timeless pieces with some edgy elements thrown into the mix, and knows how to celebrate a women’s figure. So he knows all about celebrities looking great and not so great.

No doubt that the best dressed this year at The Met Gala was Anna Wintour wearing Chanel.

Making the list as a guest requires effort with your garb: Frank Ocean in Prada didn’t even try. He simply looked like he was having a lazy day at home and remembered he had the gala to go to, and just jumped off his couch and showed up at the Met.

Richard Madden was another who didn’t try in Moschino, especially compared to Michael Urie in Christian Siriano who wore a suit on the left and a ballgown to the right. Not one feather, not one bling, zero imagination from these two.

The ladies like Zoe Kravitz in Saint Laurent who wore two nipple caps strategically placed just didn’t cut it.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen both in Christopher Kane ignored the theme completely, wearing witchy black leather items Forgot that they were still around.

Paloma Elsessner wore a denim dress that has been out of style for many years.
