Candice Robbertze Hosts All-Star Funder For CANSA
Philanthropist and current Mrs SA Charity, Candice Robbertze, hosted a star-studded fundraiser at La Rosa Mexican Grille Montecasino, on November 1, 2018 at 19:00, all in aid of CANSA.
The event called Fiesta, celebrated cancer survivors, empowering women and raised much needed funds for this worthy cause. Guests on the evening indulged in a Mexican feast with a stellar line-up of entertainment such as a fashion show by a few of SA’s well known designers, modelled by the Mrs SA finalists which takes place the 9th of November 2018.
The night also included performances by 7de Laan actress and singer, Hildegardt White and can we just say she gave us chills. Her voice was incredible and soulful! We would’ve been fine listening to her sing the whole night.R&B singing sensation, LeAnne Dlamini also performed and if you haven’t seen her perform, then we don’t know where you’ve been, as she not only lights up the room with her beauty but her stunning voice! It was a night of treats as not only did we get two beautiful women perform but we also got a few performances by Tanya V!Lets not forget how guests showed up looking stunning and off course we managed to snap the stars and have a look at what the stars wore:
Suit Up! Former Mrs SA and businesswoman didn’t come to play! This white suit is everything and if you want this well you might get lucky and find it at Zara… in Paris that is. And guys, if you do end up going there for the holidays please buy an extra one for us too, pretty please:)
One of our favourite celebs is the sweet, kind and sexy KB! she wore a printed shirt paired with trousers that featured ruffles on the side of the trousers and completed the look with lace up velvet shoes.
INGRID VRAAGOM with colleague/friend
Can we steal Ingrid and hide her away? yes? no? The stunning Ingrid wore a green wrap dress which is a hot item to own right now and did we forget to mention the item is seasonless? She paired the look with lace up nude sandals. And her friend wore a trend that should be every women’s best friend; stripes. Stripes not only gives a slimming effect but its quirky and also can make you look tall.
CANSA is an organisation close to Candice’s heart. “My dad is a survivor of stage 4 prostate cancer. Three of our family friends were diagnosed withcancer only weeks apart from each other, and one of my dear friends and a personal sponsor was diagnosed two weeks ago,” says the passionate businesswoman. “Cancer affects everyone of us, directly or indirectly. I may not be able to change the world, but if I can change the world of one person then I know I have made a difference,” continues Candice.
Corporate Relations Manager of CANSA, Munnik Marais, concludes “Candice has been an amazing Mrs SA Charity for CANSA, not only with fundraising but also with cancer awareness. She is a wonderful role model to the youth, as we saw when she got her hands and hair dirty with the Junior Major Council of Pretoria CANSA art project. So, with Candice heading the Fiesta Fundraiser and the support of the public, we know it’s going to be a huge success.”
