Trend To Try: Precious Amethyst

by Carli Prinsloo

JEWEL coloured make-up, whether it be eyeshadow or lipstick, come in all shades that flatter every skin tone, whether worn lightly or applied with a heavy hand. It is however best to keep the rest of your make-up palette subtl. We suggest a glossy lip and very light blush in most cases to compliment these intense shades. Take a look at our tips on how to wear shades of purple make-up every day.

PURPLE on the eyes is always a fierce look. We recommend stand out purple eyeshadow worn on the lids and blended with a softer shade (pink, maybe?) into the crease of the eye. Lighter shades of pinks, like rose, will provide a more subtle effect, while bolder shades, like berry or fuchsia, will create a more dramatic look.
