L’Oreal Paris, the official beauty partner for Paris Fashion Week recently hosted South African musician and Fashion designer, Nandi Madida, at Paris Fashion Week.
The experience which Nandi described as “a dream come true” was packed with extraordinary events including a visit to Karl Lagerfeld’s atelier, where the exclusive L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld makeup collection was revealed. Connected by their Parisian heritage, both Karl Lagerfeld and L’Oreal Paris share a vision based on elegance, style and relentless innovation. “It was incredible to experience one of he best fashion weeks in the world with L’Oreal Paris” Madida said. “It truly made me feel worth it”. Madida was part of an exclusive group of celebrities and influencers who were invited to the atelier for the reveal of the exclusive collection, which will be launched in South Africa on 1 November 2019.

L’Oréal Paris also made a statement of female empowerment with Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris, a runway show in the heart of the city, which was broadcast to on an international audience via social media. Madida described this event, which was staged at the Monnaie de Paris, as “emotional to witness as it brilliantly showcased women of all shapes, sizes and colours”.
The fashion show united L’Oreal Paris’ group of exceptional spokespeople including Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Helen Mirren, Camilla Cabello, Aja Naomi King, Duckie Thot and Aishwarya Rai, all on the same catwalk.
This was the 3rd consecutive year of Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris which embraces the synergy between beauty and fashion and shares it on an global scale. “The return of Le Défilé reaffirms our ties to the world of fashion through partnerships with both emerging designers and internationally-renowned fashion houses”, said Viguier-Hovasse. On this occasion, we are proud to unite our global family of inspirational women in celebration of beauty excellence and inclusivity.”
