Are You The New Face Of Pond’s?
The loved South African skin care brand, POND’S, is giving one lucky woman the opportunity to be a Face of POND’S, winning the coveted title of brand ambassador along with a modeling portfolio and other exciting prizes. The competition closes on the 3rd of June 2018.
POND’S South Africa announced the nationwide search for a new Face of POND’s, who will join the league of unstoppable ladies Ayanda Thebethe, Celeste Khumalo and recently announced Thembi Seethe, all faces for the popular skin care brand. The competition opened on 26th March and will end at midnight on 3 June 2018, following a selection of 5 top-semi-finalists competing for the grand prize to be the next Face of POND’S.
Celebrating over 170 years of history, POND’S has been loved by South African women of all ages, with product ranges for all skin types and ages. It’s remained an iconic brand with local faces – of real every day women – representing the various products. Sphe Mjadu, Senior PR Manager at Unilever, shares, “We’ve listened to our customers over the past years… We’ve had so many requests from POND’S fans wanting to be a Face. Being a heritage brand in South Africa and providing everyday beauty solutions to women, it was an easy decision to bring this campaign to life – giving women across the country the chance to be our next Face.”
The competition is open to all woman country wide, to stand a chance to be chosen in the TOP 5 semi-finalists. South Africa will then be given the opportunity to vote for their TOP 3 favorites, who will then be judged by the POND’S brand and an official announcement of the new Face of Pond’s on the 5th July 2018, at an intimate event with the current Faces of POND’S.
The winner will win prizes to the value of a R100 000:
- Feature in the Face of POND’S Campaign 2018 as the Face of POND’S Lasting Oil Control.
- Be featured on a product sleeve for a year and marketing material with their picture from August 2018.
- Receive a cash prize
- Exclusivity to POND’S events in 2018
- A modelling Portfolio
