The 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is aired on Monday night on NBC. Before presenters got started and award winners began their acceptance speeches, let’s take a look at what the stars wore to the show.
Tracee Elliss Ross
Trust Tracee Ellis Ross to always go big with her outfit choice. We actually love how creative she is and makes everything she wears look fun and fashion-forward. One of the most dramatic look at the Emmys, Tracee wore a vibrant, hot pink Valentino Haute Couture off-shoulder gown.Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake
Penelope Cruz, 44, wore a feathered gray and white strapless Chanel ball gown. This look could’ve easily fell into the matric dance department so we are glad this look was styled with sophisticated and classy accessories.
Mandy Moore always looks stunning whenever we see her! The star wore a gold, bronze and copper coloured Rodarte gown with strappy black heels and drop earrings. We would’ve loved the gown to either be a bit shorter or floor length as this length looks a bit awkward.
The Blackish star sparkled in a pink Gucci gown that featured a three-dimensional floral element with silver sequins. Is it just us but does this gown remind any of you of the the dress you wore to a family party as a teen?
This is definitely our favourite look of the night. This is pure perfection! She stole the show in a bubble gum pink halter number; the frock, which featured a cape off of one shoulder, is from Brandon Maxwell’s Spring 2019 collection.
Taraji P. Hensen
It feels like the stars over 50 bought more fire to the carpet more than the under 50s! Another best dressed! Allison wore a fuschia sequin gown by Prabal Gurung Fall 2018, with matching clutch and sandals, and then added some pop of colour with gem earrings and jewel ring.
