Kwaito star Mixon ‘Tsekeleke’ Tholo died on Tuesday evening and people are sending love to his family and friends.
The local artist famously known for his hit single Fatty Boom Boom is another one of the celebrities and musicians we have lost this year. His close friend and colleague DJ Vetkuk announced his death on Instagram last night writing “Another dark day! ? RIP tsekeleke”, and since then social media has been sending their condolences and expressing their sadness at his passing.
Speaking on TV DJ Oskido said “Tsekeleke was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years back and was told his right leg would have to be amputated,”
“He was bed ridden for a long time and seeing him like that broke all of us,” he added.
Details on his memorial service and funeral are yet to be announced.
