Reason – Nkosi Yam’ live performance
South African Award Winning rapper, Reason returns after releasing his 2017 album “Love Girls” as he drops off his 2018 album named “Azania”.
The Album “Azania” features some prominent artists with the likes of American Rapper Mick Jenkins, Kwesta, Kid X, Nelisiwe Sibiya, Ph Rawx, Gemini Major, MO-T and Swiss Beats.
The rapper left Motif Records‚ a record label which is founded by a muso South African Rapper Tumi Molekane.
The 14 track album which will be in accordance to Reason is a description of South Africa in the eyes of people who worked on it.
Saturday 26th January signalled the final Bacardi House Party Session of the season with headliner and SA Hip-Hop Award nominee Nadia Nakai and rising star, Priddy Ugly making it a party season closing to remember for Johannesburg’s music fans. Hosted at the iconic 1 Fox Street venue in Johannesburg, the party was packed with fans who came out to celebrate the ‘Naa Mean’ rapper and Priddy Ugly. Before the pair took to the stage, the crowd was treated to something extra special to finish off the season: Hip- Hop stars Reason and Shane Eagle performed incredible sessions that were nothing short of electric.
As the spirit that has been making house parties epic for over 156 years , Bacardi is passionate about supporting and celebrating music and giving aspiring artists a platform to perform. On-the-rise Hip-Hop stars such as Saudi, Kidtini and Focalistic were given a chance to show the public what they’ve got and it was lit! They truly embodied Bacardi’s philosophy of #DoWhatMovesYou , each act showcased their unlimited creativity and artistic prowess.
Even the pouring rain did not deter the party-goers as they vibed enthusiastically to the music of the Bacardi stars. Nadia owned the stage and mesmerised the crowd with her dance moves as she banged out hit after hit of her most well known tracks. Priddy kept the energy levels high as he took to the stage performing hits from his recently released album E.G.Y.P.T. and E.G.Y.P.T Delux to excited fans.
