Hello World 💙 Rome was born at 04:22am on the 26 May 2020, weighing 3.1kg 💙 I don’t even know where to begin – our hearts are exploding with Love! Our little Boy is absolutely perfect – it was a tough labor but so incredibly worth it from the moment we laid eyes on him! Brian and I were both in tears and absolute disbelief when he arrived into this world – he is everything we could of imagined AND MORE! Thank you so much to everyone for their messages, Il get to those soon but for now I just want to soak up every given moment! Ps – Brian was a fantastic Birth Partner, I’m going to get him to write a ‘How To’ book on Dads in the delivery room 🤣 Brian – just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love you more, BOOM, you went and became the best father who wasn’t afraid to get involved from the second he was born! I love you both so much 💙 #BabyRome #babyboy #newborn #DadsDouble
The couple’s romance blossomed after Brian slide into Simone’s DMs. “We first chatted and video called each other for six months,” says Simone. “Next thing you know, we had our first date and that was when we just knew we were meant for each other.”
Brian tells us that in August 2019, when the couple was vacationing in Europe, Baby Locnville was conceived and that became the inspiration for their child’s name. “We decided to call our son Rome because we’re positive that’s where he was conceived!” adds Brian.
When asked about impeding motherhood, Simone said that her first reaction was a mixture of apprehension and excitement. “In the beginning we were both more nervous about becoming parents but having had the time for it all to sink in, we feel nothing but joy and pure excitement. We can’t wait to start a whole new journey together as a team of three.”
We’re thrilled for this incredible couple and we can’t wait to watch baby Rome grow over the next couple of years. Congrats, guys!
