Mark Stent has, for years, been one of the greatest dance acts to come out of the country and this week, the star made his comeback as he dropped his brand-new album ‘Solitude’. The album features 11 brand-new tracks including the star’s latest Danny K-assisted single ‘Sweat’.
For Mark, the album represents a new point in his life and a place where he feels at peace with who he is as a musician and artist. Mark says that fans can expect a lot of variety on this album as each track represents a stage of learning and growth in his music career. On the record, Mark has gone back to his roots of deep and funky house music and is both a modern and nostalgic piece of work from the producer.
“I feel I am creatively pushing myself past points I have in the past and have reached a point of Solitude, where I am unaffected by the outside world,” Mark tells us. “I worked with so many amazing vocalists again on this album, many of which I have worked with before and some I have wanted to work with for ages. I try to work with new and up and coming artists as I love the raw hunger they have. Working with artists on something as personal as your own music creates a bond that links you together for life. I am honoured to have shared creative space with every one of these people.”
The album is now available to download or stream on your favourite digital music platform.
