Majozi Picks ‘Arrest My Love’ As New Single

Majozi’s latest self-titled album scored himself a South African Music Award nod in the Best Pop category earlier this year and after achieving success with the album’s first two singles ‘Waiting’ and ‘Somebody’, the star has chosen ‘Arrest My Love’ as the third official single odd the project.

Majozi is known for his ability to inject his uplifting perspective on the world around him into his usic and on the new single, he draws inspiration from his faith and society. The song was inspired by Isaiah 42.2 – a psalm which holds a very special place in his heart. The singer says that he loved the message behind the scripture and wanted to build his own love story around it.

“The song is about someone who is enamoured and enthralled with the person they love; they’ll do anything for that person because that’s how strongly they feel about them”, the singer says. Whether you have felt the kind of love described in the song, or you desire that kind of love, I believe everyone can sing the words like they mean it.”
