Yesterday internationally renowned South African actress Terry Pheto announced that she had won Best Actress at the British Urban Film Festival in London.
“Woke up to the amazing news that I won Best Actress Award at the British Urban Film Festival Awards last night in London,” she wrote.
Terry was awarded for her superb role in the film FACES which came out last year. FACES is a multi-narrative film set across four storylines that follow a group of characters as their lives begin to unravel.
The feature film was shot in London and directed by the award-winning British-Nigerian director, Joseph a. Adesunloye.
