Legendary South Africa musician and our sister mag’s April cover star Simphiwe Dana returns with the second single Uzokhala from her forthcoming album Bamako. The project is her first release in five years.
The first single titled Usikhonzile was released in February this year to rave reviews and has been doing well on local radio stations.
The 40-year-old produced her new LP and collaborated with a number of East African musicians. She says that the single is about calling someone to order, saying their actions will be detrimental to them, about treating everyone well, with respect and dignity.
