Designer to the stars, Ryan Keys, is currently in London to promote his latest collection for the first time to global industry buyers at London Bridal Fashion Week with White Gallery.  LBFW, held at  ExCel London, is one of the top exclusive bridal supershows in the world.

His Keys Fashion London exhibition includes a showcase of 25 exquisite wedding gowns, alongside international bridal collections by Zac Posen, Marilee, Allure, and Theia.

And the inspiration? “The inspiration is all about love,” explains Keys.  “It’s a lot in the detail— hand beaded with genuine pearls sourced from Mauritius, and flowing fabrics, for example. Then I’ve got quite a lot of my laces handmade from French Antilles. It’s all about the fine craftsmanship,  and the intricate detail, taking extensive care and time, that I believe, has taken my designs to another level.”

In addition to his bridal collection, Keys has created couture gowns for international celebs including Shanina Shaik, and Zuri Hall — as well as Nomuzi Mabena, Enhle Mbali Maphumulo, Minnie Dlamini, Khanya Mkangisa, Khanyi Mbau, Tamaryn Green, and Nadia Jaftha.

And as for future projects? “I’m hoping to expand into Europe and the UK more.” Keys added, “as for the immediate future— it’s SA Fashion Week and straight into fittings as soon as I land!”
