Kelly Khumalo slams ‘fake’ wedding rumours: “It’s all a lie!”

Kelly Khumalo has reportedly approached her lawyers after a magazine claimed she was set to get married in 2019

Drum magazine reported last week that the singer planned to get hitched to her man, whose identity she did not reveal, by October 2019.

She was quoted as saying she had already picked out her dress.

“My a** is taken, it belongs to someone – I’m not single anymore. I’m planning to have my wedding next year October. I have already decided on the type of dress that I would like – something very short with cowboy boots,” she reportedly told the publication.

Kelly allegedly added that her big day was going to be a private affair “with about 10 people somewhere private and outside the country”.

But an insider now claims the 33-year-old said no such thing.

“Kelly did not make those comments and her management has already contacted Drum about retracting the article,” the source told TshisaLIVE.

The Sobabili singer is apparently upset over the report and plans to get her legal team involved.

Social media users were shocked to learn about Kelly’s plans to tie-the-knot

“Trying to figure out who may be the brave guy,” one Twitter user wrote.

Another added: “She’s getting married to who? I never heard anything about her dating for long.”

Here’s how people on Twitter responded to news about Kelly’s alleged wedding plans.
