Josh Middleton Returns With Impressive New Single ‘Caught Up’

It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 years since local pop star Josh Middleton released his debut single ‘Monster’. Josh has taken this time in the music industry to push himself creatively and professionally and as he drops his new single ‘Caught Up’ today, this growth is being put on full display.

The singer has been hard at work over the past few months to write and record his upcoming album ‘A Mild Case of Insomnia’ and today, he kick-starts that chapter of his career with the release of ‘Caught Up’. This up-tempo acoustic pop track shows off a new angle of Josh’s musical ability and is set to be another smash hit for the young singer.

Josh wrote and produced “Caught Up” alongside producer Crighton Goodwill and makes use of multiple live instruments to present an authentic sound. The song is laced with foot-tapping bass and consists of an impossibly catchy hook that a true high-energy pop chorus should hold including a vocal edge. The song takes you on a journey through musical lifts and falls for the listener to truly connect emotionally with the relatable lyrics which will give you a peek into the mind and heart of this soulful artist.

“I find that juggling a music career, studying business and having a social life can be really tough especially when you’re in a relationship,” Josh tells us about the single. “Sometimes you just get caught up, whether you’re in studio or on tour it’s hard to keep everyone happy, sometimes you just let that relationship slip.”

‘Caught Up’ is available to download or stream on your favourite digital music platform now.
