Zoey Deutch has candidly discussed her “debilitating” battle with hormonal acne.

While the Set It Up actress always looks picture-perfect whenever she steps out onto the red carpet, in a new beauty tutorial for Vogue.com, Zoey shared that she has been struggling with blemishes since she was a teenager.

“I’ve had hormonal acne since I was 15 but it got really bad in my twenties,” she revealed. “It shouldn’t make me that self-conscious but I can’t make eye contact, I can’t go out… you know, those kinds of things. It is debilitating.”

After some experimentation with different skincare products, Zoey has found a regime that works for her complexion.

For instance, she always removes her make-up and then washes her face with iS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex.

“It’s literally the only cleanser I can use that doesn’t make me break out,” the 25-year-old noted, before going on to demonstrate how she also uses the Foreo LUNA Play Plus to really remove any cosmetics or dirt.

Elsewhere, Zoey swipes an antibiotic wipe all over before applying La Mer’s The Moisturizing Soft Cream to the upper half of her face and EltaMD’s AM Therapy Facial Moisturizer to the lower part.

“For me, I think moisturisers are the thing that trigger my hormonal acne the most. (I use) La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream (from the cheeks up to the forehead). I use this (Elta MD) stuff on my chin, I was recommended it by a dermatologist,” she added.
