Teri Hatcher has been named as the global ambassador for New Nordic’s latest hair product.
The Desperate Housewives actress is no stranger to starring in beauty campaigns, having fronted the marketing imagery for Clairol’s Nice ‘N Easy hair colour back in the mid-2000s.
Now, Teri is back in the game, with bosses at the New Nordic supplement brand tapping her to promote the Hair Volume formula.
“I’m very excited to come on board as an ambassador for New Nordic Hair Volume. It fits perfectly with my ethos that living positively and healthily are catalysts for healthy behaviour,” she said in a statement. “Of course, I’m not a doctor or hair expert, but I think everyone should make sure they get the right nutrients to suit their needs. I’ve never been blessed with amazing hair – it’s been through a lot of stages over the years, and it’s now finding its balance.”
The New Nordic Hair Volume tablets are a natural food supplement formulated to help maintain healthy hair growth, strength and volume, whilst also providing natural nutrients for hair, nails and skin.
They are based on a unique Swedish apple and millet formula with amino acids, silica and vitamin, with Teri adamant she has already noticed a difference in her signature brunette locks.
“I’ve been taking the product daily for just six weeks and although it seems a short amount of time to see a difference, I actually think I do. It just really does feel like it’s stronger. I also think the mindfulness of remembering to take it once a day might be trickling down to my other self-care,” the 54-year-old shared.
New Nordic Hair Volume tablets are available in different size packs, with 30 tablets priced at $32 (£24.95).
And New Nordic chief executive officer and founder Karl Kristian Bergman Jensen is thrilled to be working with Teri on the launch.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Teri on board. She shares our core principles that natural health and wellness can give us all a great quality of life and help to achieve genuine happiness. She will be a fabulous asset and we look forward to a successful partnership together,” he added.
