Shawn Mendes is the smiling face of a new campaign for the braces brand SmileDirectClub.
The 20 year old has signed on to promote the company as part of an ad that promises to help create a flawless smile for customers. The Treat You Better hitmaker hopes to spread the company’s message of confidence and positivity by encouraging fans to sign up for the teeth-straightening service.
“I’m really excited to partner with SmileDirectClub and collaborate with a company that aims to build confidence and spread positivity in an authentic way,” Mendes said in a statement.
SmileDirectClub is a digital network that allows patients to straighten their teeth from the comfort of their home. The process starts with a scan that orthodontists then use to create a series of aligners, which are sent to the customer’s home and switched out every few weeks.
“SmileDirectClub was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a smile they can be proud of, and we’re thrilled to team up with Shawn Mendes, who truly embodies the confidence that comes with an amazing smile,” said co-founder of SmileDirectClub Alex Fenkell. “We know he’s a perfect partner to help spread our message and mission.”
Last week (ends08Feb19), the star took to Instagram to tease the new partnership in a video post.
“My smile shows the world who I am,” he said in the footage. “What does your smile show the world?”
Mendes has every reason to smile after snagging one of this year’s most memorable Grammy Awards moments on Sunday night (10Feb19) – a rousing rendition of his song In My Blood with Miley Cyrus.
