Priyanka Chopra swears by a good self-care routine.
The Quantico star opened up her beauty essentials in an op-ed for U.S. InStyle magazine and revealed that taking time on a good skincare routine is the best thing women can do for their general wellbeing.
“Self-care is extremely important to me and something I always make time for. Especially skin care – we spend so much time on make-up and clothes, but I feel best when my skin is glowing and I barely need any makeup,” she explained.
When the former Miss World has a night off, she slathers on a thick face cream, such as Obagi Hydrate Luxe, and leaves it on her face for 20 minutes before rinsing it off.
Then, she turns her attention to her long, brunette locks, and uses a DIY scalp oil treatment that she was taught by her mother.
“Combine a bit of coconut oil with a dash of castor oil and massage it into your scalp, let it sit for a little while, then shampoo. She swears this helps your hair grow in healthy,” Priyanka shared.
The Isn’t It Romantic star is also a big fan of exfoliation, which she does at least twice a month.
“I spend five minutes buffing my skin with a loofah in the shower, then afterward, I blend a hydrating oil like argan oil with body lotion and really go to town massaging the mix into my skin. If you do this routine a few times a month, it keeps your body supple and smooth,” she gushed.
