North West will reportedly launch her first foray into fashion with the release of her debut clothing line.
The five-year-old is set to curate the collection, which sources claim will be titled Sunday Best, and is said to have enlisted cousin Penelope Disick, six, to offer a helping hand.
The venture will apparently tie in with the new Los Angeles-based church services, dubbed Sunday Service, which were started by North’s parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
“Kim and Kanye want to show that being close to God can be fun, and what better way to do that than with sparkly kids’ outfits?” an insider told Heat magazine. “They’re calling the brand Sunday Best and will sell pieces online for between $500 (£379) and $1,000 (£757).”
The source added that the line will be populated with brightly coloured pieces, which will include Spandex dresses, sequin pants and fake-fur tank tops. Yeezys for kids, following in Kanye’s stylish footsteps, will also be included.
A commercial is also apparently being planned for the collection, with the clip reportedly set to feature a number of North’s extended family members.
“They’re going to do a shoot for the brand, which will see Kanye singing and preaching, along with shots of the kids including North and Penelope running around church and trying to sit still,” the insider stated. “The idea is to offer parents clothing that their kids can pray in, but also have water fights outside the church.”
