Nicki Minaj has continued her beef with Cardi B by releasing a line of merchandise taking aim at her rap rival.
Nicki and Cardi famously came to blows during a New York Fashion Week party last month (Sep18), and were caught brawling at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event at The Plaza Hotel, with 25-year-old Cardi launching a shoe at Nicki’s head.
Anaconda singer Nicki has since commented that she feels humiliated by the public altercation, though that hasn’t stopped her from cheekily referencing the fight on a new line of backpacks, shirts, and jackets.
The garments are all emblazoned with the phrase “Nicki Stopped My Bag”, a play on Cardi’s Instagram statement following their bust-up.
“I’ve let a lot of s**t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat,” Cardi raged on Instagram, using the slang term for hindering someone’s income. “You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**kin with them!! I let you talk big s**t about me (sic)!!”
The 35-year-old hit back on her Beats 1 show Queen Radio by telling her listeners that Cardi needs help.
“The only thing on your mind after you (gave birth) was to attack people and to stop their bags,” she blasted. “And you wanna let your publicist write something about stopping bags?
“Real b**ches never attack a woman. You’re angry and you’re sad. This is not funny. Get this woman some f**ing help. This woman’s at the highest point in her career and she’s throwing shoes?”
Prices for Nicki’s new pieces start at $30 (£25).
