Meghan, Duchess of Sussex re-wears engagement dress to awards ceremony

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex re-wore her engagement dress to an awards ceremony with her husband Prince Harry on Tuesday.

The royal couple stepped out for the annual WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, with Meghan wearing a very familiar dark green dress for the occasion.

The mid-length sleeveless garment, which features a bow around the waist, is from Italian brand P.A.R.O.S.H., and the 38-year-old wore it originally during her and Harry’s engagement announcement and interview in November 2017.

For the awards ceremony, Meghan teamed the forest green dress with brown Manolo Blahnik suede high heels, a Montunas tortoiseshell scarf bag, and a camel coat from Sentaler.

She accessorised the look with gold and diamond stud earrings from Emily Mortimer Jewellery, while Harry looked dapper in a dark blue suit and pale blue patterned tie.

Back in 2017, the former Suits star complemented her P.A.R.O.S.H. dress with a belted white wrap coat by Line the Label as she and Harry announced their engagement following more than a year of dating.

During the WellChild Awards on Tuesday, which honours ill children and their caregivers, Harry delivered a speech to the audience, and revealed that at the ceremony last year, Meghan was secretly pregnant with their son, five-month-old Archie.

Meghan attended the event in 2018 wearing an all-black suit by Altuzarra, which she accessorised with a black clutch by Stella McCartney.

The WellChild organisation was one of four causes Harry and Meghan asked people to support instead of buying gifts for their newborn son in May.
