Khloe Kardashian breaks style rules

Khloe Kardashian doesn’t always abide by her stylist’s rules.

The reality TV personality recently commanded attention in a dusty pink PVC dress by House of CB, which she wore to Scott Disick’s birthday party at a nightclub in Las Vegas last month (May16). Sleeveless and boasting a plunging neckline, the blonde beauty accessorised the skintight dress with delicate gold jewellery and a pair of white snakeskin effect pointed heels. But Khloe, who has undergone a major body transformation since her split from husband Lamar Odom, reveals her spin on the latex ensemble didn’t get her long-time stylist Monica Rose’s approval.

“I tried it on for the first time with my glam squad,” Khloe wrote in a post on her website. “My hairstylist Jen told me that I should wear white shoes and my wardrobe stylist Monica was like, ‘Who would ever wear white shoes with this dress?!’ LOL. She wanted me to wear nude shoes or gray heels, like Kim (Kardashian) did with her latex dress.”

While Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim never stray to far from Monica’s opinion, the 31-year-old admits she sometimes ignores the style queen’s advice and goes with her own instincts.

However she does totally trust Monica’s view when it comes to clothes and accessories.

“When I was packing, I was rushing and couldn’t figure out what to wear – then I heard Jen’s voice in my head and couldn’t stop thinking about the white shoes,” she admitted, adding, “Monica is pretty much always spot on, and I trust her taste, but sometimes you just gotta do you!”

Khloe has worked with Monica since the first season of her family’s reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and recently shared that she understands her shape and curves best, and was also willing to find couture garments for her when others declined.

“At my fattest, Monica would always come with racks of clothes and make me feel special,” Khloe told Harper’s Bazaar. “She never told me, ‘Oh, they don’t have that in your size.'”
