Kesha is not fazed by being placed on worst-dressed lists.

The 33-year-old singer opened up about her approach to beauty and style to Teen Vogue and confessed that she enjoys breaking boundaries with her quirky and experimental looks and doesn’t mind if her bold choices put her on the worst-dressed list.

“I like playing with the boundaries of what you’re supposed to do with things like art and music and fashion and make-up,” she said. “So I just think that even though, maybe, I didn’t nail every single look and I’ve ended up on a lot of worst dressed lists, I’m happy that I at least tried once everything I wanted to try.”

The Tik Tok hitmaker also said that she created her own cruelty-free and vegan make-up line, Kesha Rose, to represent the style journey she’s gone on over the last decade.

“I think that if you just stayed one thing forever, for me, that wouldn’t feel genuine,” she explained. “I feel like I’m ever-evolving, as (are) my style and make-up and hair. As you grow and learn about yourself, and learn about different kinds of art, and learn about the world more, you gain more inspiration.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about how she has embraced the “transformative” nature of make-up and wants her fans to get experimental and have fun with her debut beauty collection.

“I just love the transformative quality of what makeup can do for people. It’s not about looking perfect; it’s about embracing and enhancing what you already love about yourself, and having fun with it too,” she shared.
