James Marsden’s son Jack is the latest millennial to be hired by Dolce & Gabbana.
Design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have seemingly turned their backs on casting professional models for their ad campaigns and runway shows, preferring instead to tap talent from the acting and music world, as well as the offspring of famous faces.
Jack Marsden,16, is the latest such celebrity to get the Dolce & Gabbana treatment. He made his runway debut at the Italian brand’s Milan Men’s Fashion Week show on Saturday (13Jan17), walking alongside Paris Brosnan, son of actor Pierce Brosnan, Rapper Christian Combs, whose dad is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and Rafferty Law, son of actor Jude Law and his ex-wife Sadie Frost. British rapper Tinie Tempah and singer Austin Mahone also walked in the celeb-heavy show.
“Could not be more proud of my oldest son @jackmmarsden walking his first show for @dolcegabbana and their Men’s Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018/2019 campaign in Milan today Thank you Domenico and Stefano for having us! “#proudpapa #DGKingsAngels #DGfw19 #DGMen #DolceGabbana #DGmillenials #MFW,” James captioned a shot on Instagram of Jack strutting his stuff in a red fur-trimmed coat.
The proud dad uploaded a second shot, this time front on of Jack, with the teenager rocking a baseball jacket with the D&G motif on, teamed with striped trousers and a beanie hat.
“One more of my boy @jackmmarsden #oversharingprouddad,” he wrote.
Fashion newcomer Jack took to his own social media accounts to share the news, telling his followers how his runway debut had led to him also making new pals.
“I’m super thankful to have walked my FIRST runway with @dolcegabbana and have gotten to make new friends #runway,” he wrote.
