Felicity Jones practices yoga every morning

Felicity Jones likes to start the day by lighting a candle and working on her yoga poses.

The Theory of Everything actress tries to find at least 10 minutes every morning to do some stretches on a yoga mat to help her feel more prepared for the day ahead.

“Sometimes I feel like a headless chicken when I’m running from one thing to another. I’m probably not breathing properly,” she told Shape magazine. “I have a little space where I put down a yoga mat and I light the candle – Diptyque in scent No.34, which is almost unisex, with a spiciness to it. Even if it’s just for 10 minutes, I have a stretch. Then I feel a little more centred and ready for the day.”

The 36-year-old, who is an ambassador for Japanese beauty brand Cle de Peau Beaute, also likes to begin her day by using their Concentrated Brightening Serum and giving her face “a wake-up massage” using a face roller, which she believes helps “get everything going”.

If she has time after a long day’s work, Felicity will go for a run outdoors, and when her busy filming schedule allows, she will try to carve out some self-care time and have a proper pampering session too.

“I’ll often exfoliate twice a week and do a facial mask – as well as a hair mask – once a week. And it’s really important to take your make-up off properly before going to bed. That’s what my mom taught me, and it has stayed with me. I like locking myself in the bathroom and doing a proper pampering session when I have time,” the star explained.
