Eve can’t get enough of $500 rose-scented perfume

Eve can’t get enough of a luxury rose-scented perfume priced at nearly $500 (£393).

The rapper and TV host has no qualms about splashing out on luxury items for herself from time to time, and in an interview with New York Magazine’s The Strategist, shared that she loves spraying herself with her signature scent – Memo Paris’ African Leather Rose Eau de Parfum.

With key notes of rose essence, leather accord, cardamom, and geranium, Eve discovered the fragrance during a trip to U.S. department store Neiman Marcus.

“(I) told the sales associate that I love the smell of oud, but it’s too woodsy for me, and asked her if there was something flowery with a similar strength,” she recalled. “She introduced me to Memo Paris, and when I smelled African Rose, I knew it was the one. It’s not cheap, but a spray or two will last all day, because it’s mostly oil, not alcohol.”

Eve loves Sacred Rose Water’s Spray Body Mist too, which can be purchased from Amazon for around $25 (£20), and Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant in the Rose and Vanilla option. The Grammy Award-winning star incorporates Uma’s Absolute Anti-Aging Body Oil and Sunday Riley’s Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment into her skincare regime as well.

“This stuff is made with lactic acid, and I’ve found it to be a really good exfoliant without being too harsh. It gives my skin a brightening boost, shrinks pores, and also helps calm breakouts (I’ll put some on an inflamed area at night, and by the next morning, it’s calmed down),” the 40-year-old noted.

In addition, Eve keeps her bathroom well stocked with her enduring favourite, Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.

“It’s kind of old school, but the cream is truly a miracle product. I can leave the house with just this and make-up wipes in my bag, and I’ve got all the products I need,” she smiled.
