Emily Blunt treats a cold with oregano oil

Emily Blunt depends on oregano oil when she’s struck down by a cold.

The British actress has been busy promoting her latest film A Quiet Place, which she stars in alongside husband John Krasinski, who also directed and co-wrote the horror movie.

She’s also recently been battling a case of laryngitis, but instead of cancelling her promo duties, Emily has turned to an unusual concoction to make her illness more bearable.

“I would say if you feel yourself coming down with a cold, which I’m like the worst person to nominate this because I sound horrible today – tail end of laryngitis. But… oil of oregano,” she shared in an interview with Glamour U.K. “You sort of just throw a few drops down there. It’s disgusting, you burn your throat but I do tend to find it shortens the cold.”

The oil has ensured she feels her best, while a host of beautiful outfits have ensured the star looks her best, including the red and pale pink, tulle Oscar de la Renta gown she donned for the New York premiere of A Quiet Place, and the white, tiered lace dress by Elie Saab for the debut screening in London.

During her chat with Glamour, Emily went on to detail her go-to make-up staples when it comes to glamming up for the biggest events.

“Well, I absolutely love Sisley products. I think they’re beautiful,” the 35-year-old smiled. “I love them. And Cle de Peau do the most fantastic concealer sticks.”
