Celine Dion and Billy Porter top 2019 Vanity Fair Best-Dressed List

Celine Dion and Billy Porter have been named on the 2019 Vanity Fair Best-Dressed List.

The Canadian singer is well known for her love of couture, and the Pose star, who made a splash at the 2019 Oscars in a velvet gown and tuxedo jacket from Christian Siriano, have both been selected by editors at the publication as two of the most stylish celebrities in Hollywood.

Dion commented that she is currently “obsessed” with pieces by Dutch designer Ronald van der Kemp, founder of fashion house RDVK.

“Every piece they do is one of a kind. And last time I went to Paris Fashion Week, Valentino blew my mind,” the 51-year-old gushed.

Meanwhile, Porter named his style icons as Diana Ross and Andre Leon Talley and also described high heels as the most “powerful thing one can wear.”

Dion fell under The Virtuosos category, joining Marc Jacobs, Diane Keaton, Zoe Kravitz, Rami Malek, Priyanka Chopra, basketballer Serge Ibaka, and playwright Jeremy O. Harris, while Chloe Sevigny, Gemma Chan, Mahershala Ali, cultural philanthropist Pamela Joyner, Frank Ocean, Keanu Reeves, Elle Fanning, and Cicely Tyson were labelled as The Classics.

Joining Porter as The Originals is costume designer B. Akerlund, Tyler, the Creator, artist Kehinde Wiley, Harry Styles, gallerist Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, and Lena Waithe, while a special mention was given to designers including Haider Ackermann, Brunello Cucinelli, and Rei Kawakubo.

Elsewhere, the most stylish couples included Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, Rick Owens and Michele Lamy, George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, and model sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid.
