Britney Spears has turned her closet into her personal runway while self-isolating at home during the coronavirus crisis.
The Piece of Me hitmaker took to Instagram on Thursday to upload a clip of her posing up a storm in an array of outfits, including an orange dress, an orange crop top and denim shorts combination, as well as a fuchsia minidress.
In the accompanying caption, Britney admitted she was “bored” while practicing social distancing amid the Covid-19 pandemic, but was glad to have rediscovered some of the clothes in her wardrobe.
“Okay I guess I’m bored… in my home for two weeks of quarantine and I’m modelling dresses I never knew I had!!!! I tried to screen shot a picture but it didn’t work,” she wrote. “I realised I had my hair in a ponytail and no shoes… anyhow I got this cute video!!!”
Britney went on to explain that slipping into the orange dress had really boosted her mood.
“I was tired of being still so I got up to go dance in this orange dress,” the 38-year-old noted. “And do you know what I just learned today??!? That orange symbolises wealth, success, stimulation, happiness, fun, balance, sexuality, enjoyment, expression, heat, sunshine, and warmth and that’s how I felt when I put it on!!!!!!”
Elsewhere in the caption, Britney clarified an earlier Instagram post in which she claimed she had completed a 100-metre sprint in 5.97 seconds – faster than world record holder Usain Bolt.
“Obviously, I was joking about running the 100-metre dash in 5.97 seconds… the world record is held by Usain Bolt which is 9.58 seconds… but you better believe I’m coming for the world record !!!!” she insisted.
