Britney Spears has returned to her home gym after accidentally burning it down.
In recent months, the popstar has regularly posted clips of her practicing yoga or working on dance routines either outdoors or inside of her home on her Instagram page.
But in a video uploaded on Wednesday, Britney confessed that she was in the process of rebuilding her gym after she came close to completely destroying the room last year.
“Hi guys, I’m in my gym right now. I haven’t been in here for like six months because I burnt my gym down, unfortunately,” the 38-year-old began. “I had two candles, and, yeah, one thing led to another, and I burnt it down. So, I’m in here and we only have two pieces of equipment left.”
Britney went on to share footage of her working out with weights and doing some yoga poses on her balcony.
In the accompanying caption, the mother-of-two offered further details of the incident.
“It was an accident…but yes… I burnt it down,” she confirmed. “I walked past the door to the gym and flames BOOM !!!!!! By the grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt. Unfortunately, now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol (laugh out loud) and a one-sided mirror gym!!!!! But it could be much worse so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways (sic).”
And in another post, Britney also explained that she has been self-isolating at home since returning from Louisiana two weeks ago and is yet to see her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
“I have actually lost weight from missing him… now none of my pants or shorts fit !!!!! Guess that’s what missing someone can do… who else is experiencing this ????!” she added.
