Babes Wodumo Apologizes For Bullying Lady Zamar

Earlier this month, a video made the rounds on social media which saw Babes Wodumo poke fun at Lady Zamar’s acne. The video shows the star watching an episode of Idols South Africa, where Lady Zamar was a guest judge on, and zooming into her skin while saying “You’re busy laughing at this child on Idols and your face is like this.”

Soon after the video was shared on social media, Babes claimed that she had been hacked but now, the Gqom sensation has confessed that she did indeed share the video while apologizing to Lady Zamar. “Yazini (You know what)? I love Lady Zamar and she knows that. I was just upset by the comments she made to some of the contestants on Idols, but I understand I shouldn’t have sworn at her or made fun of her face. I used to have pimples too,” Babes said in a recent interview.

Babes’ manager and sister Nondumiso Simelane adds that while Babes does take responsibility, she reiterates that Babes was, in fact, hacked. “She does acknowledge that she was the one mocking Lady Zamar and has apologised,” Nondumiso says. “She also maintains that she was hacked a few days ago but we fixed that and she is back to her old number. The matter is now in the past.”
