Lebogang Brenda Motsumi’s Man Talks Love
HIV positive Zazi Brand Ambassador, Lebogang Brenda Motsumi spoke to us about the love her life Shaun Mihlali Mpalweni who in turn, poured out his heart about the love of his life. Here is how it all went down.
How did you and Lebogang meet?
We were in High School together but we officially met at Melrose Arch for a meeting.
So sweet! So what were your first thoughts about her?
She’s strong, sweet, straight forward, open and a very confident woman.
That’s beautiful! What was your initial reaction when she disclosed her HIV positive status?
I knew her status before we dated so to me it does not really matter. I love her not her status.
True. So how are you a supportive partner to your lady, Lebogang?
I always make sure she watches what she eats and I constantly remind her of taking medication.
That’s thoughful of you. Tell us, how was your first time of being intimate with your partner?
It was phenomenal, it was great, love just took over – no nerves or discomfort whatsoever.
Stunning! How is the intimacy now?
It’s beyond our expectation, – emotional and very intimate.
Just as it should be in any relationship. Share your thoughts about love and what it means to you.
Where do I even start? I’d write a book about us already! Love is one of the best feelings if it is real and unconditional, genuine and mutual between you and your partner. Love conquers all, it lightens up your entire life. Love is amazing, Lebo is my love and she means the world to me. I just wanna get married already, because I know for a fact that she is my soulmate.
That’s beautiful! So what stigmas and stereotypes do you wish to clarify about dating an HIV infected partner?
There really is NOTHING to worry about. Your Partner is infected NOT sick and we all deserve to be loved unconditionally without any doubts, fears or reservations.
So true! So what advice can you share with other guys who may be scared to pursue love with an HIV infected lady even though they may love her?
If you truly LOVE her, like I do, make the move, that could be your meant to be partner. No need to be scared, my woman is amazing.
Thank you so much for the informative chat and we wish you and your lovely lady, Lebogang all the best! #LoveLivesHere
