3D Theatre

ALISHA MUA started doing theatrical make-up two years ago; it’s something she knew she would be good at as she takes after her mother, who is also very creative.

She loves to work with people and finding new techniques. But she particularly enjoys working with 3D make-up, which makes flat surfaces appear to be popping out or off the skin. “I’d love to work with the likes of Tim Burton,” she says, “I find all of his work amazing. If anyone wants to go into theatrical make-up, the most important thing is to be very confident and creative and just let your crazy thoughts go.”
