Nicole Richie might be on the slimmer side, but she has been following a healthy diet and fitness plan for years. We share some of her tips and secrets….
Diet: According to Nicole, husband Joel Madden inspired her to submit to nutrient packed foods, and now she religiously eats wholesome foods such as grilled chicken, brown rice, green veggies, fruits etc. The star also enjoys juicing diet plans at times to detoxify her body and mind, say sources. Nicole also watches her portions, try to consume no more than 1 200 calories per day and includes foods with omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, vitamins etc. Nicole also cooks week, and has revealed that she cooks healthy meals for her and her family – the pair have two kids – and forbids junk and processed foods.
Fitness: She stays fit with regular training, adding that she likes to stick to various workouts. She’s a passionate dancer and abides by the famous Tracy Anderson method, following in the footsteps of many other A-listers including Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow. Nicole also loves running on the treadmill and using the elliptical, plus practices weight lifting.
