How does Gabrielle Union stay in shape? We share some of her many secrets.
Diet: When it comes to her eating programme, the actress reveals that she does not deprive herself, however knowns her limits and doesn’t indulge in everything she’s craving. She told FitnessMagazine.com, “If I want cupcakes, cookies, or a short snack, I don’t deny myself. And I certainly don’t deny myself bacon! But I just stay active, and not let it get too out-of-control.”
Gabrielle drinks a gallon of water a day; eats loads of fresh vegetables, enjoys green smoothies, quinoa, kale, fish and red meat, and snacks on unsalted almonds, which has been effective in controlling her hunger pangs, she says.
Fitness: According to healthyceleb.com, Gabrielle’s workout usually consists of ’20 jumping jacks, running in a place for 30 seconds, 10 push ups and sit ups each and 15 curls and squats each’. This all gets done in two minutes time before repeating the same routine over and over, until she feels she has given her best. Gabrielle, who also has a personal trainer, enjoys cardio exercises and limits her training to 90 minutes, with 15 to 20 minutes devoted to stretching.
