New Year’s Countdown With BTL

WITH the excesses of the festive season literally weighing down on us, New Year’s resolutions habitually take the form of addressing weight loss and body detoxification.  It is good to know that there are groundbreaking treatments that can help us achieve these New Year goals.  One such approach is the BTL Lymphastim, which is a mechanical stimulation supporting lymph circulation – along the same principles as manual lymphatic drainage.

BTL Lymphastim is a non-invasive, pain-free and clinically proven treatment for reducing cellulite and volume, body contouring, improving skin elasticity and overall skin and body rejuvenation.  It can also be used effectively to assist post liposuction care and other accelerated healing, and benefit other elements of the lymphatic system such as muscles and the digestive and circulatory systems.  BTL Lymphastim has special applicator sleeves with overlapping chambers that provide a gentle massage to encourage the natural circulation of lymph through the body.  The overlapping chambers result in more precise, homogenous and efficient therapy.  Patients attest to the immediate and visible results, as well as their relaxation and comfort during therapy.

While the BTL Lymphastim treatment produces remarkable results in its own right, it can also be used in combination with other fat reduction and body shaping BTL treatments such as Vanquish, Exilis Elite and X-Wave.

The BTL Vanquish ME is a “no contact” procedure that targets fat reduction of the midriff and love handles (or thigh area) without the need for surgery. With the largest spot size in the industry, Vanquish treats a large surface area, from flank to flank, during one single treatment. The device uses concentrated and homogenous distribution of thermal energy to induce and maintain even heating of the fat tissue.  Once the fat cells reach and maintain therapeutic temperature, they become “apoptotic” which results in fat cell death.  The damaged cells are then slowly and naturally cleared out of the body by the lymph. This means safer, more natural and quicker results with no pain and down time following treatments.

Similarly, the Exilis Elite system also uses energy to address body shaping, skin tightening and facial rejuvenation. During treatment, precisely controlled radio frequency energy is used to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This heat causes fat cells to shrink and contracts the skin tissue, stimulating new collagen production in the process. By layering advanced cooling during treatment, deep tissue can be treated all the way up to the superficial layer of skin.

Another BTL treatment clinically proven to effectively reduce cellulite is the BTL X-Wave.  This uses the energy of acoustic waves and pulses to induce the proliferation of fibroblasts and increase microcirculation, oxygen supply and metabolic rate in the affected areas.  Furthermore, because the pulses stimulate the lymphatic vascular system, this leads to the reduction of swelling and better elimination of the fats from the subdermal fat cells.

BTL treatments, used in isolation or combination with one another, all aim to help women and men who struggle with losing lingering fat despite healthy and active lifestyles.  As non-invasive and speedy treatments with minimal or no downtime and swift results, they are the perfect solution to starting a new year with full body confidence.
